Strong Place will be opening up right down the street from the 277 HQ. An excerpt from thestrongbuzz.com on the new creation from the Chef and Owner team of Bocca Lupo.

Kenny Tufo and Jeff Lederman, the chef and owner (respectively) of the popular Brooklyn Italian spot Bocca Lupo will open Strong Place, an American Bistro with a raw bar and a gastro-pub-esque menu, featuring wine and beer (24 brews will be on tap) right next to Sweet Melissa at 270 Court Street.

Out With Sandwiches – In With Wings?

According to the cobble hill blog the old Panino’teca 275 location will become The Wing Bar.

According to a sign outside reading “The Wing Bar: Coming Soon!” There seem to be people in there meeting already, so there probably won’t be much of a remodeling of the interior.

No immediate results pop up for other locations in the area. Looks to be a sports bar featuring wings. If they can keep a good selection of beers and keep the prices down I believe they have a good shot at success, although it’s still way too early with far too few details to have any real idea.
